Terms And Conditions

Welcome to TeaStarters.net! Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By accessing our website and purchasing our kombucha SCOBYs, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Important Information About Our SCOBYs

Our SCOBYs are living organisms and require special care. For best results, maintain a temperature between 40°F and 110°F. Avoid extremely low or high temperatures. To prevent contamination, always use glass containers and wood or plastic utensils during the kombucha brewing process. Metal containers and ceramic glazes can leach metals into your kombucha, which is not recommended.

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

At TeaStarters.net, your opinion matters! As a small business, we strive to provide the finest quality SCOBYs. All products are guaranteed to be top quality, healthy, and mold-free. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to our continued service. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us.

Website Usage

We hope our website is easy and convenient to use! We have added several pages related to TeaStarters.net and their friends and business partners to keep our customers informed and able to obtain the equipment to successfully grow not just kombucha, but anything fermented.

Shipping and Delivery

While most of our customers are locally located, we can ship, if necessary, to the USA. Our packing may be a little different from the normal kit that we ship. The glass container is heavily insulated from heat, cold, or breakage (but it still can occur in rare cases). If your SCOBY arrives damaged, send us a photo, and we will replace it free of charge. We also offer 5-gram vials for expert kombucha brewers. Our SCOBYs are alive, so we normally send a note letting you know the SCOBY has been shipped and a tracking number 24 hours in advance so your SCOBY does not sit out in the elements for long.
